A man from Red Lodge has realised his ambition of running the London Marathon before his 60th birthday.
Paul Delaney, who turns 60 in September, didn’t let a broken little toe stop him from finishing his first ever marathon in seven hours and 10 minutes.
Mr Delaney was running for Get Kids Going, London 2012 Olympics chief Lord Coe’s charity that gives children and young people the opportunity to participate in sport, and has raised £1,720. There’s still time to help him reach his target of £2,500. Visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/pauldelaney180 to donate.
