Isleham’s new £1.5m state-of-the-art community centre is on course for completion in November.
The new centre which will include a licensed bar and café, hall with stage, meeting rooms and sports changing facilities has been awarded grants including £152,000 from The Football Foundation and £50,000 from Sport England.
Now the centre’s management committee is searching for a centre manager to lead the day-to-day running of the new facility.
They are looking for someone with experience of managing hospitality or retail outlets and their duties will include managing events, recruiting and supervising staff, and dealing with the centre’s suppliers.
Mark Goldsack, chairman of the management committee, said: “Experience and personality is more important than qualifications.”
Priority will be given to local applicants.
Anyone interested in applying for the post should contact Diane Bayliss on 01638 781687.
The closing date for applications is Friday, August 23.
