A man suffered a life-threatening asthma attack in Newmarket on Saturday.
The man, aged in his twenties, was treated by East Anglian Air Ambulance staff before being taken to West Suffolk Hospital by land ambulance.
A spokesperson for the EAAA said: “Dr Lazlo Hertzman and paramedic Jemma Varela attended an incident in the charity’s Rapid Response Vehicle after a man in his early twenties suffered a life threatening asthma attack.
“The patient was treated at the scene before being taken by road to the West Suffolk Hospital.”
The man was said to be in a serious but stable condition.
