A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed at a petrol station in Soham.

Police were called to the BP petrol station in Fordham Road at around 2.20pm after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed.

The man that was stabbed was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

A 48 year old man was arrested at the scene and was taken to Parkside Police Station in Cambridge.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact Ely CID on 101.
