Man killed on A11 named

A man who was killed on the A11 yesterday morning has been named as Peter Hankard, of Newmarket.

The 46 year old, of Exeter Road, suffered fatal injuries after his silver Renault Clio collided with a parked lorry at around 10.15am just past the B1085 Fordham turnoff.

Paramedics attended but he died at the scene.

Anyone with any information about the incident should call police on 101.
