An elderly man who died after a three-car collision in West Row has been named by police.
David John Rolfe, 75, from Mildenhall, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened in West Row Road at 7.55am yesterday.
The incident involved a blue Toyota, red Peugeot and a white Mazda.
The female driver of the Peugeot, aged in her 40s, was trapped and had to be freed from the vehicle by the fire service and remains in West Suffolk Hospital with back and chest injuries.
The female driver of the Mazda has been treated for shock.
The road was closed for about five hours while police carried out a collision investigation and vehicle recovery.
