A Mildenhall girl is supporting two cancer charities after cutting off eight inches of her hair.
Eight-year-old Izzy Ansell donated her locks to Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost their hair after cancer treatment.
She has also raised £122 through her act for Macmillan Cancer Care which has helped several of her friends and family.
Kerry Holliwell, mum of the St Mary’s Church of England Academy pupil, said Izzy plans to grow and cut her hair for the rest of her life.
“I’m full of pride for her,” she said. “She was worried about it but everyone likes it and I think she does too.” To donate go to http://www.justgiving.com/izzyandjenny.
