Young people across Newmarket and Mildenhall will have the chance to share their views on local health services and pick up healthy living advice at a series of talks over the Easter holiday.
Led by healthcare experts, the talks have been organised by NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commisioning Group (CCG), in partnership with Community Action Suffolk, LiveWell Suffolk, Suffolk Family Carers and the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust.
The first talk will take place at Mildenhall Swimming Pool between 11am and 2pm on Monday, while the second one will be held at Newmarket Leisure Centre between 11am and 2pm on Thursday.
“Young people use NHS services so their views are equally important as those of adults,” said Dr Rakesh Raja, of NHS West Suffolk CCG.
“These events will give them the chance to talk with CCG staff about the healthcare they receive and what improvements we can make.”
