Health awareness available for Soham residents

SOHAM residents have the chance to kick-start a healthier new year thanks to an initiative by the town's medical centre.

They will be able to get advice and information on healthy living at a health awareness day at the Staploe Medical Centre.

During the event, which will be held on Saturday, visitors will be able to meet representatives from sports centres and weight loss organisations, as well as staff from the medical centre.

Visitors will also have the chance to measure their blood pressure and calculate their body mass index (BMI).

All are welcome to drop in at the Brewhouse Lane centre between 10am and 2pm.
