Members of the public are being offered the chance to snap up the last few decorated horses heads that lined Newmarket’s High Street for much of last year.

Newmarket Town Council has five of the metal heads, which were decorated by schools, businesses and members of the racing community, up for sale for a reserve price of £100 per horse and fixing bracket.

All money from the sales of the horses’ heads will be split between racing charity Racing Welfare and St Nicholas Hospice Care in Bury St Edmunds.

Anyone interested in purchasing one of the metal heads should contact Kay Dawson, pictured, on 01638 667227.
