Have your say on policing issues

PEOPLE who live in the Soham and Burwell areas are being invited to have their say on policing priorities at panel meetings next week.

The Soham neighbourhood panel meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 2 at 7pm at Soham Village College.

People who live in Soham, Wicken, Isleham, Fordham, Snailwell, Kennett and Chippenham are invited to attend.

Meanwhile, the East Cambridgeshire South neighbourhood panel meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 1 at 7pm at Bottisham Village College.

People who live in Burwell, Reach, Lode, Bottisham, Swaffam Prior, Swaffam Bulbeck, Cheveley, Stetchworth, Dullingham, Brinkley, Burrough Green, Westerley Waterless, Kirtling and Wood Ditton are invited to attend.

Priorities for the neighbourhood police teams will then be set for the next three months.

East Cambridgeshire Sector Inspector Alan Savill said: "We would like to see as many residents attend these meetings as possible.

"It is vitally important to us that we know the issues that really concern the community so we can take action."
