Frankie Valli tops Night’s bill

POP legends Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first hit with a concert at Newmarket’s July racecourse this summer.

The stop off at Headquarters, one of their first concerts in the UK for 18 years is part of a globe trotting tour which is taking in Australia and New Zealand. It is 50 years since the release of the band’s first hit, Sherry, but thanks to the world-wide success of the Tony- winning musical Jersey Boys, which chronicles the life of times of Valli and the group, they have reached a whole new generation of fans.

Their Newmarket Nights concert will feature classic hits such as Big Girls Don’t Cry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You, Walk Like A Man, Who Loves You, Rag Doll, Working My Way Back To You, Let’s Hang On, My Eyes Adored You, Bye, Bye, Baby (Baby Goodbye), December 1963 (Oh What A Night) and Grease.

Tickets for the concert, which is on Friday June 29, start from £12 for under 16’s and £21 for adults. To book, visit www.newmarketracecourses.co.uk or call 01638 675500.
