Frankie escapes first Celebrity Big Brother eviction

Champion jockey Frankie Dettori escaped eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother house last night (Wednesday).
The Stetchworth-based father-of-five had put himself up for nomination in a previous episode of the Channel 5 reality show to give some of the other celebrities the chance to move from the dreary basement to the luxury main house.
He was up against model Paula Hamilton and US reality stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag in the first eviction of the series.
But it was 51-year-old Paula who was booted out to chants of ‘get Paula out’ by the waiting audience.
When asked who she would like to see evicted next, Paula named the Italian jockey.
She said: “I think Frankie’s got a game. He’s very intelligent, seriously intelligent. He knew by nominating himself out he’d be a hero. He does things that are very clever.”
