A 24-year-old man from the Ely area has died in hospital six days after a crash in Exning.
Emergency services were called to Cemetery Hill in the village at 4.35am on April 19, where a silver Peugeot 206 had been in collision with a lamppost.
The 24-year-old driver suffered serious head and neck injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The man died from his injuries on Friday.
Police are continuing to investigate the collision and are asking anyone who saw the vehicle prior to or at the time of the crash to call PC Dean Webb at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
