Newmarket Cameo Club has given a cash boost to four local groups.

The club, which has been running for 40 years, has split this year’s fundraising total of £1,500 between Red Balloon, an anti-bullying organisation based in Cambridge, Newmarket Community First Responders, Stetchworth Opportunities Group - to pay for a family trip to the pantomime - and the Newmarket St John Ambulance.

Above ... Club members present cheques to Derek Blyth, of St John Ambulance, Christine Turner, of the Ellesmere Operations Group, and David Clarke, of Ely Community First Responders.
