A convicted paedophile has been jailed after admitting a string of offences against a young boy.
Geraldo Tucciarone, 53, formerly of St John’s Close in Mildenhall, is currently serving a 10-year prison term for sex offences committed against a boy and a girl then aged 10, more than 20 years ago.
On Friday he admitted five more offences of indecent assault, all involving the same boy over an eight year period. which took place in Mildenhall and Brandon between February 25, 1984, and February 24, 1992, and came to light when the boy went to police after Tucciarone was jailed in 2012.
The abuse had started when Tucciarone took the boy to a cinema and later sexually assaulted him in a toilet.
The abuse continued at addresses in Mildenhall and a Brandon.
Judge David Goodin sentenced Tucciarone to five years’ and five months’ imprisonment to run concurrently with his existing sentence.
He said his victim had been so “emotionally drained and scarred” by what had happened to him as a child that he was only able to the police when Tucciarone was behind bars.
