Cat reunited with owner thanks to Journal

A NINE-month-old cat which was hit by a car has been reunited with its owners thanks to a Journal appeal.

The cat, which had not been microchipped, was taken to Newmarket veterinary centre Lida Vets in Grosvenor Yard after being found injured in Duchess Drive.

Following the appeal, the owners of the cat, who also live in Duchess Drive, came forward to collect the cat on Thursday.

“The owners were very, very relieved to find the cat safe and well,” said Sandie Wilson, of Lida Vets.
