A cycle path linking West Row and Mildenhall was officially launched at Mildenhall Cricket Club on Monday.
The route along a well-used bridleway was widened and paved, which has created a more accessible and pleasant path with views of the River Lark for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
Suffolk County Council gave the plan the go-ahead on October 8 after more than 100 people attended a public meeting. It was paid for by a £150,000 grant from Department for Transport, £20,000 from Sustrans and £50,000 of the council’s funds.
Cllr Colin Noble said: “It’s a great community asset for West Row.”
