A memorial bench dedicated to a popular former Newmarket butcher has been installed.

Fred Fitzpatrick, who had owned Fitzpatrick’s butchers in Exning Road, died at his Vincent Close home on July 6 at the age of 66.

Above, friends and colleagues of Mr Fitzpatrick, including John Durrant, of Newmarket Open Door, where he had worked as a driver after his retirement, look at the new bench.
