Lloyds Bank staff walked from their branch in Newmarket town centre to Lloyds in Ely to raise money for the bank’s charity of the year, the Alzheimer’s Society.
During Dementia Awareness Week, nine staff took carried a collection pot on the 25-mile challenge. It was the first leg of a Lloyds group relay to Newark in Nottinghamshire with employees from around 50 branches taking part.
Newmarket branch manager Neil Thompson and staff Sharon Dickenson, Sue Arbon, Heather Warren, Wendy Haswell started the walk and were joined by Yvonne Huxley, Alison Clarke and Sue Birch at Soham.
