A choice of walks

Newmarket Ramblers have a 12-mile walk on Sunday, starting from the Village Hall in Wickham Skeith at 10am and visiting Mendlesham.

The walk will be a figure-of-eight, giving the opportunity to drop out at lunchtime, and a donation for car parking is requested. For details, call Tessa on 01359 232693.

Those who prefer a shorter walk can join the RA East Cambs group’s six-mile walk from Stretham Church, also on Sunday with a 10am start. Call Jim on 01638 780415 for details.

Wednesday’s five-mile walk is from Gazeley Church at 10am. This will be led by Ted, who can be contacted for information on 01638 750401. Bookings for the group’s sausage lunch also close on Wednesday.
