Stowmarket indie rock band Lost Lungs are supporting 80s icon Toyah Willcox at the Apex on March 22.

The band, made up of singer Helena Lewis, lead guitarist Dominic Clarke, rhythm guitarist William Pearmain, bass player Andrew Moore and drummer Lee Jaggard, have played the prestigious venue before - coming runners-up in last year’s BurySound music competition.

Helena said they were thrilled to be supporting such a well known performer.

She said: “Our first reaction on getting the gig was shock. Then we thought ‘this is pretty scary’. But after it had sunk in we realised this will be a great experience.

“It is nice to be able to play such a big place and to such a big crowd.

“It was absolutely brilliant last time we played there, we really love that venue.”
