150 homes plan for

deferred

Plans to build nearly 15o homes at Kentford, near Newmarket, have been postponed due to a potential judicial review.

Bids for 88 homes in Gazeley Road and60 homes in Herringswell Road have been deferred until a meeting next month, while a third plan for 16 homes in Bury Road has been withdrawn.

A spokeswoman for Forest Heath District Council said: “The council is taking legal advice on this matter to ensure that the committee are provided with the appropriate level of information and advice to enable members to make an informed decision on planning applications.”
