Fund secretary Richard Fletcher: “We are now approaching the final furlong in our campaign to create a memorial on Rutland Hill and to endow a scholarship to encourage local young people to study and excel in mathematics or computer science. We urge people to donate now so that we can create a fitting memorial to this great man, improve the town centre and give our young people a better chance in life.”
Donations can be made on line or by cheque to The Journal. Details at www.billtuttememorial.org.uk
