An inquest into the death of Newmarket stablewoman, Pam Winterburn, will be held in December.

The hearing, which was opened and adjourned in Huntingdon on Friday, heard that Miss Winterburn, who was 44, and lived in Orchard Row in Soham, died in the town on July 21. The cause of death was given as hanging.

Well-known in Newmarket’s racing community, Miss Winterburn had worked for the late Sir Henry Cecil and more recently for trainers Hugo Palmer and Ed Walker.
