Two members of staff at a bank in Newmarket are to have their leg and chest hair waxed off in aid of charity.

Daniel Johnson and Dave Worrall, who work at the town’s branch of Santander, will brave the pain barrier on Wednesday, October 15, to raise cash for the Newmarket Day Centre.

Staff and customers to the High Street shop can pay £5 to wax of a strip of leg hair or £10 to wax of a strip of chest hair.

Throughout the day there be colouring competitions for children to enter while there will also be a variety of cakes on sale.

“As we haven’t done a big charity thing for a while we decided to do something that will benefit the community and give something to what is a worthwhile cause,” said Daniel.

The charity day at the store will run between 9am and 5pm with the leg and chest waxing taking place from 1pm.
