The first wedding show at the Granary Estates in Woodditton has been hailed a success as people browsed the wide range of wedding accessories and services on offer.
Sunday’s show saw more than 30 suppliers displaying their wedding services at the busy show organised by the Newmarket Journal and staged at the barns.
Amy Burns, operations director at Granary Estates, said: “We were pleased with how it went. It was a very busy show and we had lots of new faces through the door.
“This was a first for us and we are pleased with the turn out and, from the suppliers perspective, they were able to take a number of bookings on the day.
“The barns lends itself to this well and we had a nice response from local suppliers.”
Mark Stanford, Newmarket Journal events manager, said: “It was a fantastic first show and that was down in no small part to the venue. It had a real wow factor and we’d like to thank Granary Estates for their hospitality.
“The suppliers really put on a show within a show and and really made an effort to make their stands attractive. There was a really nice atmosphere all round.”
