Government’s plans for the young are working – MP

Newmarket MP Matthew Hancock has welcomed new figures that have shown a fall in the number of young people not in employment, training or education in the east of England.

Government figures have highlighted that 5,000 fewer young people are out of work, education or training, a fall of 5.9 per cent since the general election.

“These figures show that the Government’s long-term economic plan is working, securing a brighter future for young people in West Suffolk. We’ve now just go to stick to it,” said Mr Hancock.
