More than 200 entries have been submitted for this year’s Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Awards.

Nominations for the awards, the most valuable of their kind in the world, which are sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed’s racing operation, have come in from yards and studs of all sizes around the country with trainers, stud managers, owners and colleagues eager to recognise the outstanding work and dedication of stud and stable staff employees.

The winners will receive their prizes from Ryan Moore, widely acknowledged as the best jockey currently riding anywhere in the world, at a ceremony hosted by Clare Balding, which will take place on Monday, February 23, at London’s Jumeirah Carlton Towers hotel.

Brough Scott, chairman of the judging panel, said: ”The awards are celebrating their 11th year and the event is now firmly established in the calendar.”

The long list of finalists for the awards will be announced later this month.
