The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Newmarket this morning to visit the town’s academy and to unveil a statue of King Charles II at the Rowley Mile racecourse.
At Newmarket Academy, the Royal visitor watched a dress rehearsal of an upcoming school production and met students preparing business cases for the town’s open weekend later this year. She also toured the art and technology area, the animal welfare centre and the forge in the metal work department.
