Maya Marshall and Jessica Cheal passed their intermediate foundation ballet exam with merit at the Royal Academy of Dance headquarters in London keeping up the school’s 100 per cent success rate since March with nine students passing.
The school’s first set of ISTD modern and tap exams, saw success for Olivia Rees and Niamh Hooton (Grade 1 tap), Lily Haylock (Grade 1 modern), Lola MacDonald and Lucy Taylor-Hodgson (Grade 1 tap and modern), Morwenna Woodbridge, Emily Nunn, Lucy Hunt, Zara Minns, Amy Taylor-Hodgson and Jodie Nunn (Grade 3 modern) with distinctions for Amy and Jodie.
School principal Louise Plummer said she was delighted with the students’ results. “Our school has also been awarded recognised school status with the Council for Dance Education and Training,” she said.
“We have successfully been able to demonstrate we are committed to putting our students safety first and have met a set of nine requirements of good professional practice.
“This award allows us to be recognised as a school where parents can be assured their children are taught by fully trained, qualified, professional teachers.”
