Police appeal for your help

editorial image

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of man they believe could hold information to several incidents of fraud by false representation.

The image has been released following reports of three incidents at various shops and cafes in Newmarket and Mildenhall on Wednesday, December 28.

In each case the suspect has attempted to pay for low cost items with a £10 note and then handed over amounts of small change to be changed for further notes in an attempt to confuse sales staff.

The man has been described as white, in his 30s, around 5ft 6in tall, and of a medium build.

He is believed to have a freckled complexion with either blond or ginger hair.

Anyone with information in regards to any of the three incidents should contact Pc Emma Peachey on 101.
