Assault at hotel: Men bailed
FOUR men arrested on suspicion of assault in Mildenhall have been released on bail.
On Saturday a 42-year-old man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, with head injuries after the incident at The Bell Hotel in the High Street.
Following the attack police arrested two men from the town aged 42 and 44, a 46-year-old man from Thetford and a 25-year-old man from Brandon.
All four were released on bail until April 3, when they will return to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for further questioning.
The man who was attacked currently remains at Addenbrooke’s Hospital where he was said to be in a stable condition.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was inside the hotel at around 9.40pm. Calls should be made to Suffolk Police on 101.
