Police in Newmarket are appealing for information after a catalytic converter and exhaust were stolen from a van.

The theft happened between 10.30pm on Wednesday 29 October and 8.30am on Thursday 30 October in Noel Murless Drive in Newmarket.

A white Mercedes Sprinter van which was parked in the street was targeted, a side quarter light window was removed and then the whole exhaust system and catalytic converter stolen.

In a second incident in Newmarket, three catalytic converters were stolen from three vans at business premises in the town.

The thefts happened between 9.40pm and 10.35pm on Wednesday 29 October at premises in Oaks Drive, Newmarket. CCTV has been viewed and two men in a van were seen to enter the yard of the premises and three catalytic converters were taken from vans (all Mercedes Sprinter vans).
