Volunteers at Mildenhall’s Citizens’ Advice Bureau were joined by the High Sheriff of Suffolk Nicholas Wingfield Digby as they officially celebrated moving into their new home earlier this month.

The bureau is now based in Forest Heath District Council’s office in College Heath Road.

“Our move was prompted by the lease on our previous building coming to an end,” said Jane Ballard, district manager of Suffolk West Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

“For clients it offers the convenience of finding a number of services together on one site, including the health centre, library, council services and the JobCentre.”

The bureau is in need of more volunteers and Chris Cadman, who chairs its board of trustees said full training would be provided to anyone who is interested.
