First time London Marathon runner Briony Craven-Russell has enlisted the support of a well-known local business to her leggings logo campaign.

Family run garage Manchetts have joined with the Newmarket branch of estate and lettings agent Cheffins, in signing up to have two logos on the leggings the Exning resident will be wearing when taking part in the race, sponsored by Virgin Money, in April.

The 42 year old will be running in the 26.2 mile contest to raise funds for St Nicholas Hospice Care, Bury St Edmunds, in memory of her dad George Craven, who died after a 16-month battle with bowel cancer in 2008.

“I am hugely grateful to Robert Manchett and Sean Manchett and the entire team at Manchetts for their generous donation,” said Briony.

“Not only have Manchetts made a contribution towards my sponsorship but they have kindly offered to post news updates regarding the fundraising and training on their Facebook page.

“I have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of people pledging their support and to have the
opportunity to carry their support across the finish line is what makes it all worthwhile.”
