A THIRD person has died following a road traffic collision which also killed two American servicemen.
Gwyneth Wainwright was a passenger in a Nissan Primera which collided with the servicemen's BMW on the A1011 on Saturday, May 30.
Mrs Wainwright, 55 and from Denham, died as a result of her injuries yesterday at the West Suffolk Hospital.
The driver of the Nissan and the male passenger remain in hospital.
The crash killed, killed two American servicemen based at RAF Lakenheath, 24 year old Mark Stephany, and passenger Daniel Addabbo who was 23 and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men in the car escaped with minor injuries.
A child also traveling in the Nissan was also unhurt.
Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have seen either vehicle traveling along the A1101 prior to the collision.
