TEN cars were broken into by thieves who went on a stealing spree on Newmarket's Studlands Park estate on Wednesday night.
Between 5pm and 10am the following day, vehicles parked in Nimbus Way, Parkers Walk, Persimmon Walk, Highclere Close, Aureole Walk, Golden Miller Close, Studlands Park Avenue and Tulyar Walk were targeted.

Items stolen included car stereos, a mobile phone and a laptop.

Police have reminded car owners to always lock their vehicles, not to leave valuable items in them when they are unattended and to park in a secure garage if one is available.

Anyone with any information about the thefts should contact PC Paul Crouch at Newmarket Police on 01284 774100.
