A MULTI-million pound project to extend Newmarket's world famous Tattersalls bloodstock sales complex has had the go-ahead.
Back in January, the bloodstock auctioneers submitted proposals for new wall boxes, toilet facilities, haybarn, canteen and lunging ring.

But concerns were raised by residents of The Avenue, whose gardens back on to the paddocks.

The original proposal was withdrawn but, following consultations with the residents and the planning authority, a revised plan was submitted.

John Morrey, property manager for Tattersalls, said: "The concerns of our neighbours in The Avenue have been fully addressed in the revised proposals."

The plan has now been approved by Forest Heath Council.
