Man in court on drugs death charge

A 34-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with supplying methadone to a Newmarket woman, who died after taking the heroin substitute.
Damien Jared, of Howard De Walden Way, Newmarket appeared at Sudbury Magistrates' Court yesterday in connection with the death of Eileen Conlan.
Jared, who spoke only to confirm his name and address, will reappear before magistrates on Monday, July 14. No plea was entered.
Miss Conlon, 37, died at her home on December 29.
