TWO people have been arrested after an incident in which a man in his 30s suffered facial injuries.
Police were called to Skeaping Close, Newmarket, on Tuesday afternoon following reports of intruders at a house at around 4.20pm.

A 42-year-old man from London and a 33-year-old woman from Newmarket were arrested in nearby Howard de Walden Way on suspicion of affray, having an offensive weapon and theft.

They were taken to Bury St Edmunds police station for questioning but were released on bail.

The men will return to the station on October 30.
