YOUNGSTERS from Newmarket's 2nd and 3rd Rainbows have been raising money for a policeman's new bicycle.
More than 20 children, aged between five and seven years old, rode up and down the Rowley Mile Racecourse horsewalk as part of a sponsored cycle ride.

Some of the children cycled more than 50 laps, helping to raise £180 towards the new bike, which will be used by a Newmarket Police Community Support Officer (PCSO).

Police officers came and post-coded the youngster's bikes for security.

The 24-strong Rainbow group meets on Tuesday evenings at Fairstead House School.
