AN ISLEHAM-based telecommunications company has received two industry awards for its efforts throughout the last year.
Convergence Communications Ltd picked up the Best New Dealer 07/08 and Excellent Customer Service 07/08 awards at this year's NEC National Dealer Awards, at the Belton Woods de Vere Hotel, in Grantham.

Oliver Shevki, company director, said: "It is fantastic for Convergence to be recognised by NEC-these prestigious awards are recognition of the company's progress over the past 12 months. The whole team has worked tirelessly."

Set up in 2004 by friends Oliver Sheki, Philip Clayton Smith and Lee Harrison, the firm has gone from strength to strength, currently employing 13 full time staff.

Last year saw the company pick up Small Business of the Year at the Newmarket Business Association Awards.
