NEWMARKET'S new leisure complex will open its doors on Monday after a £14m revamp.
As well as a chance to look at the new facilities, guests at the multi-million pound centre in Exning Road can find out about its extended opening hours and activity programmes up until April.
Visitors can also sign up for the new Swimfit programmes and book inductions at the state-of-the-art fitness centre.
Meanwhile, swimmers are gearing up for the Newmarket and District Swimming Club's Swimalong on Saturday, which will be the first event to be held at the new complex.
The charity event, organised in conjunction with The Rotary Club, will see the first swimmers jump in at 8am when Forest Heath Council chairman Rona Burt cuts the official ribbon.
Darley Racing will provide commemorative t-shirts and Newmarket Racecourses has donated trophies for the winners. So far, 28 teams of four to six people have entered.
"We are delighted to be hosting such a prestigious event which supports so many good causes," said Richard Balfe, chairman of Anglia Community Leisure.
"This will be an excellent way to show off the new pool and raise money for charity.
"We wish all the teams every success and look forward to seeing them there."
Charities set to benefit from the fundraiser include Newmarket Swimming Club, the Rotary Foundation and a third charity of the team's choice.
