STUDENTS at Mildenhall College of Technology have been busy brightening up the college's dinning area and octagon.
Led by art teacher Evelyn Polk and inspired by artist Keith Harding, a group of eight Year 9 pupils took time out of their weekend to paint a healthy eating mural.

Miss Polk said: "We wanted to enhance and improve the school's environment while promoting our healthy eating status. It looks fantastic."

Another group of Year 9 pupils did their bit by creating a life-size figure to mark the many cultures the school boasts.

Cultural Bobby, made entirely of recyclable materials, was designed by youngsters who do not speak English as their first language during the college's activity week.

The figure, which is more than 5ft tall, will now stand in the college's octagon.
