A VETERINARY nurse is taking part in the world's biggest half marathon on Sunday to raise money for women fighting breast cancer.
Jeannie Morley, who works at Aquarius Veterinary Centre in Mildenhall, will be running more than 13 miles in the Great North Run which will take her from the centre of Newcastle to South Shields.

She has so far raised around £500 for Breast Cancer Campaign, a charity which funds research into treatment, prevention and cure of the disease.

"I have had a few friends and family members who have had breast cancer and some I have lost," said Jeannie, who lives in Back Street, Lakenheath.

This will be the fourth Great North Run that Jeannie has entered after she became hooked after watching the event on television four years ago.

Anyone who would like to sponsor Jeannie should contact her on 01842 861199 or Aquarius Veterinary Centre in Field Road, Mildenhall.
