PUPILS at a primary school in Mildenhall received a special visit last Monday when a popular children's author dropped by.
Clifford Norgate, star of former ITV children's show Knightmare and a storyteller from BBC programme Jackanory, visited pupils at Great Heath Primary School to read them a selection of stories.

The Norwich-based author and actor told tales to pupils from each year using a selection of books from the school's annual visiting bookfair.

Hilary Burlinson, clerical assistant, said: "The children really enjoyed his visit.

"He has visited the school before and is always a big hit with the children."

In addition to his work on TV and on paper, Mr Norgate has also worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
