TRANSITIONS, links and connections were the themes on display at this year's Mildenhall College of Technology sixth-form art exhibition.
The display, which is put on each year by the college's AS and A-level students, gives them the chance to exhibit the coursework which they have produced throughout the year.

Art teacher Jacqueline Vollenhoven said: "The work this year has been of a really high standard and we are very proud of what the pupils have done."

Students explored this year's themes by using elements of sculpture, photography and textiles as well as mixed media designs.

Miss Vollenhoven added: "The mixed media has been very popular throughout both years as it allows students to combine a number of various media styles together."

Works of an outstanding nature were recently praised at the college's annual art competition, which was sponsored by Mildenhall Rotary Club.

This year's most successful student was Year 12 pupil Amy Ceesay, who picked up first prize for her textile work and a third place in the fine art competition.
