A 10-year-old boy injured in collision with a car on Saturday in Red Lodge is now in a stable condition in hospital.
It is thought Aaron Bettoney was riding his bike when he was involved in a collision with a dark-coloured Mercedes car on Magnolia Close.

He suffered head injuries and had been put on a life support machine at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Police confirmed that his condition was no longer life-threatening.
A spokeswoman from Suffolk Police said an investigation into the accident was currently under way.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance arrived at the crash scene at around 4pm and airlifted the boy to hospital.

An eyewitness said the road was closed for nearly three hours while emergency crews were at the scene.

Newmarket county councillor Lisa Chambers, who lives close to where the accident happened, said her husband was one of the first people at the scene to help the youngster.

"This has left the community in great shock. Everybody really pulled together on that afternoon," she said.

"The family is very well known in the community and thoughts and best wishes go out to them at this time and I wish him a speedy recovery."

Cllr Chambers, who is also the district councillor for Red Lodge said the incident had highlighted the dangers of traffic to other youngsters playing in the village.

She is currently working in conjunction with the police to raise traffic awareness in Red Lodge.
