Burwell hosts film festival

Burwell Baptist Church is hosting its inaugural Film Friday Festival later this month.

The event, on Friday, February 22, is the church’s latest fundraiser for Zambia 2013, a two-week mission trip which involves 11 young people from the village.

During the day, six Africa-related films will be shown on a big screen and filmgoers will be invited to make a contribution towards Team Zambia’s fundraising total.

The sponsored screenings will take place at the church at 9.30am, noon, 2.30pm, 5pm, 7.30pm and 10pm.

Baptist church youth worker Nathan Shipley said: “We will be showing some fantastic films throughout the day. There’s one from the golden age of Hollywood, a Disney double-bill and a modern-day classic.” For full details go to http://zambia2013.tumblr.com
